Me, at 8 years. With this painting my passion for painting started (in June 2004). I discovered I liked painting so much only a few months ago. Now it rules my life!

i dont believe that you've only been painting for a few months. i've looked at your gallery and i think it is amazing.

i love the simplicity of this peice. i think it accentuates the simplicity of an 8 year old's life.

and the yellow background is perfect too, i think it symbolizes youth.

you are a natural painter. i've tried painting for years and i am terrible at it.

Thank you so much, never got a favorite on Nancy! I am surprised myself I discovered painting at 44 years! It is so wonderful to use the colors and make those big strokes. My son [link] advised me to put in on DA.
Your comment on Nancy is very well put, glad you see what I meant. Did you see the flowers she brings for you? Looked at your site too, you have a wonderful eye! :)

Look at that darling little girl! If I were 8 years old too, she would be my best friend! She would climb to the top of the tree and send me (sitting on a much lower branch) secret messages in a little basket on a string! :+fav: :blowkiss:

I saw this under Razortire's Favourites and I felt I had to comment. Is that how you really looked, with glasses on, at that age? She looks so cute, very lovable:)

Yes this is exactly how I looked, Milbisous. My parents confirm it! I was such a happy, naive child. Maybe I still am.
