About 3 hours of work.
I have been working so much lately on my regular job. It means lots to read, to write and scheduling. The switch to the image of painting isnt so easy then. This afternoon I forced myself with a picture for reference of Roos (ofcourse), with lots of fun and colour in it.
It is a scene from summer where she pulled out her sweater and tried to hide behind/under it. One moment she lifted the sweater from her sweet face and there I could catch her! I used the picture for reference and left out what I didnt want to use. Working with those thick brushes, thick paint and Roosy's smile made me feel happy today.
Wonderful work, Nancy! That icy blue against the warmth of her skin and the almost-on-fire background! You certainly are a wizard with texture! instant
I LOVE the blue, very vibrant! It felt like a cool wether picture to me though only because of the blue you used in her mouth. It's very cold and snowy here anyway so the picture is seasonally perfect hahaha. Very nice and well done, I'm glad it made you feel happy.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
